Power Lifters Genetics: Gene Rolls and Slot Protection

How Genetics Works in Power Lifters

Power Lifters genetics lets you spend Gene Rolls on randomized traits, including bonuses to your character’s physique. Rerolling can replace a useful trait with something worse. Slot protection matters because it lets you lock a result you want to keep.

The system uses gene slots, with a lock control for protecting a slot. One possible bonus increases arm and leg size by 4%. Read the effect attached to your result before deciding whether to roll again: a size bonus describes a different benefit from a strength gain or stamina regeneration boost.

You can get Gene Rolls through redeem codes, and additional rolls are also available for Robux. Claim the code rewards before deciding whether to spend.

Finish the Tutorial to Access Genetics

Complete the tutorial before trying to change your genes. The opening sequence takes you through lifting exercises, stamina training, consumables, and equipment purchases before you can use the genetics system.

Power Lifters — Finish the Tutorial to Access Genetics

Follow the on-screen objectives through the entire sequence:

  • Complete the requested exercises and repetitions.
  • Follow the prompts to buy and use an energy drink and creatine.
  • Continue through the remaining muscle-training objectives.
  • Complete the equipment-shopping prompt.

If genetics is still unavailable while the tutorial is directing you to train your legs or visit another station, finish those objectives first.

Watch your stamina during these exercises. Running out can interrupt your repetitions, even with Auto Lift. Follow the tutorial’s recovery prompts so you can finish the required training and reach the gene rolls.

Energy drinks restore stamina, while the tutorial’s creatine provides stamina regeneration, stamina gain, and a temporary total-stamina bonus of 20. Use the treadmill for stamina training when the tutorial directs you there. Pay attention to the active consumable’s effects: the tutorial includes an objective to keep lifting until your creatine runs out.

There are also rewards to collect while working through these exercises. Open Rewards to claim playtime rewards. The group reward requires joining the Gym Freaks community and gives 15k Cash and 2x Gains. Daily quest objectives include getting two new PRs, cleaning 50 pieces of trash or puddles, and completing 100 reps. Cleaning the gym also earns cash.

Auto Lift costs 450 Robux and automatically lifts and adds weight when you are ready, including while AFK. The separate 1.5X Stamina pass costs 249 Robux and increases stamina regeneration to 1.5X. Keep those effects separate when comparing purchases: automatic lifting handles repetitions, while the stamina pass changes recovery speed.

Codes That Give You Gene Rolls

Try these codes through Rewards to collect rolls without buying them individually.

CodeGene RollsCash
GENESPART2510k
SORRYFORBUGS510k
JUANMOREGENEROLL1—

Together, these rewards total 11 Gene Rolls and 20k Cash if all three codes redeem successfully.

To redeem them:

  1. Launch Power Lifters on Roblox.
  2. Open Rewards.
  3. Enter a code into the text box.
  4. Select Redeem to collect its rewards.

Copy each code exactly to avoid typing errors. The older GENETICS code, which awarded 10k Cash and 3 Gene Rolls, is inactive.

SPECIALBARS offers a separate reward: 10k Cash and 2x Gains for 10 minutes. It does not award Gene Rolls.

Protect a Useful Slot Before Rerolling

A reroll is a gamble, not a guaranteed upgrade. Replacing a trait can leave you with a weaker result and fewer rolls to recover it.

Use the lock control on a slot you want to preserve, then look for “Slot protected” before continuing. Check the slot you intend to change before spending another roll.

Read each new trait’s effect before clicking again. Keep a useful result when it supports what you want to improve, and reserve further rolls for a slot you actually want to replace. Avoid spending your remaining rolls simply because the previous attempt was disappointing.
